About Us

Robert R. Rayfield and Associates, Inc. is a family business which was founded in March of 1982 by Robert Rayfield as a can making consulting firm specializing in Nitrogen Gas Flushing Systems for the snack food industry. The company added an end stamping operation to its organization in 1984.

Robert R. Rayfield and Associates continues the press operations to stamp out metal ends for can bodies. The steel, either tinplate or aluminum coated backplate, arrives in sheets which are then scroll sheared into strips then fed into a double die stamping press.

By scroll cutting the sheets, the maximum usage of the steel is observed, thereby saving material and lowering the cost of each end. The press is capable of converting the strips into ends at a rate of over 30,000 ends per hour. These ends are continually inspected, then packaged and ready for shipment.

Because Robert R. Rayfield and Associates have a low overhead, we can offer our product at a competitive price and with over 43 years of experience, we can offer a decidedly superior product. The staff of Robert R. Rayfield and Associates has dedicated themselves to providing quality, service, and satisfaction to their customers.
